My 3 year old son is refusing to pick up the plate of oranges he through off the table. He has to sit down until he agrees to pick them up…it’s been about 30 minutes.
To be honest, I’m kind of impressed with his persistence.
We’ll see how long this last. I think this is actually harder on my wife. :)

It’s Quiet…a little too quiet.

by Ian Clark on November 21, 2011

I would like to apologize for the lack of post lately. I promise to provide an explantation here soon! For now, just know that things are going well. We sold our 78 VW Beetle, my family is doing fantastically! And accordingly to my latest “device check” I should be the poster boy for ICD patients…not sure if that’s a complement…more to come soon.

September 8, 2011

Seven years ago or so, I was at a party where I was introduced to several other young adults. One of the guys I met was an insurance agent or something. At some point in our conversation, age came up. I asked him how old he was, to which he answered, “34.” My response, a [...]

New Season, New Conference

September 3, 2011

Quick Heart Update

July 22, 2011

Today I had my check up with the cardiologist. Its been about 6 months since my last visit to the Heart Center at Carle Clinic in Urbana. I went all by myself. Which, honestly, I didn’t think was a big deal. But this morning when I was talking with my wife over the phone, I [...]

Change In Plans

July 20, 2011

A couple weeks ago I said for my next talk at Crossroads I was going to focus on Luke 18.18-30. Well there has been a change in plans. Yesterday I made the decision to talk about a verse in 1 Peter that may not be that popular. 7 Husbands, likewise, submit by living with your wife [...]
